After succesful repair of Glenda Melisa, Nauta Yard once again works for ISHIMA. The works on board High Prosperity are conducted in the SD I dry dock. The vessel with LOA 180 m and beam 32 m is undergoing standard maintenance repair.
The contract is a continuation of good cooperation between Nauta Yard and Shipowner – ISHIMA. In November 2015 another chemical tanker – Glenda Melisa left dry dock after class repair.
On December 18th Nauta Shiprepair Yard launched partly outfitted purse seiner trawler Beinur. This is the 4th vessel for Dannish client - Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS.
Beinur has an overall length of 78 meters and a beam of over 15 meters.
Since the opening of Newbuilding Department in Gdańsk Nauta this has been fourth vessel for this client and two similar units have been delivered to customers from Norway. Another six fishing trawlers, research vessel and Service Offshore Vessel are under construction in Nauta Yard.
After repairs of vessels belonging to Stena Line, Unity Line and Finnlines Nauta performs works for the next Ro-Ro owners.
On 4th December m/f Regina Seaways of DFDS entered the Nauta’s floating dock no 4 . The vessel was built in 2010 and maintains ferry connections in the Baltic Sea region. It is the first contract with the Danish company. DFDS hopes to maintain co-operation in the forthcoming 2016 year.
On 13th November Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed contract for building fully equipped fishing vessel. The unit has been ordered by a Scottish owner.
The vessel shall be 87m in length and 18m wide and will be equipped with the most modern fishing equipment such as fish finding, catching and storage system suitable for different type of school pelagic spices.
The complete propulsion plant, including main engine about 7 000 kW, together with two bow thrusters, will provide very good maneuverability during the catching operation and purse seining operation.
On 26th October 230 m long bulk carrier Alam Pintar entered dry dock SD I in Gdynia. The vessel shall undergo second class repair.
Scope of work includes: cleaning and painting of the hull, main engine survey, tail shaft survey including seals renewal and propeller polishing, rudder repair, survey of ballast tanks, various piping works, overhauling of electric motors and other minor repairs. Works are performed under the supervision of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.
At the beginning of October 2015 Nauta was chosen to perform works on board Polish Navy’s ORP Piorun.
Fast Attack Craft (Missile) belonging to "Orkan" class entered Nauta on 19th October, 2015.
Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed a new contract for building purse seiner trawler. Contract with Danish client was signed on 8th October, during International Fishers Exhibition – Danfish.
The new vessel will be 69.95 m long and 15.0 m wide. It will be a sister ship of seiner “Haugagut” (B-691) launched in August 2014.
After succesful repair of m/v Tuju Arrow, Nauta Yard once again works for Gearbulk. On 6th October bulk carrier Jaeger Arrow entered dry dock SD I.
Nauta is completing works on board timber carrier Bahamas Pearl. Few days ago another vessel - Tuju Arrow left Nauta after successful 1st class repair.
The works on board Bahamas Pearl are conducted in the SD I graving dry dock. The vessel with LOA 200 m and beam 30 is undergoing her class repair, including maintenance and painting works on the hull and cargo, works on the covers and gantries, steel work, replacement of the shaft seals as well as engineering works.
Finnlines Plc once again has chosen Nauta Shiprepair Yard for the installation of scrubber system on the board ro-ro vessel. On 14 August Finnmerchant entered to the Yard.
