On June 2nd, Nauta Shiprepair Yard succesfully launched a newly built partly outfitted fishing trawler Rockall. It was third launching ceremony in Nauta Shipyard this year. Rockall is also the tenth unit which was built by Nauta for Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS.
Yesterday (April 27th, 2017) at around 1:30 p.m., floating dock No 1 located in our Gdynia premises holding a Norwegian tanker under the repair gradually tilted and finally came to rest on its side.
The situation was quickly brought under control. All personnel were expeditiously evacuated and no one was injured. Both the dock’s and vessel’s position are now stable and any possible leakages have been secured.
Nauta Shiprepair Yard launched another fishing trawler
On March 31st Nauta Shiprepair Yard launched partly outfitted fishing vessel for the Dannish client – Karstensens Skibsvaerft AS. M/V AINE will operate in the waters of the North Sea.
On 21st February launching ceremony of partly outfitted fishing trawler m/v VOYAGER took place at Newbuilding Division of Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk. It will be one of the most powerful fishing vessel in its class.
Nauta once again shall perform installation of scrubber system aboard m/v Peter Pan, a ro-ro ship of TT-Line. The vessel with length of 191m and width of 30m shall be fitted with Italian Ecospray Technologies system. The job shall be performed in close co-operation with Baltec Marine company.
Apart of the jobs connected with the scrubber installation a standard dry dock survey shall be performed.
Nauta has experience in installing exhaust gas cleaning systems. Last year such systems were installed on 7 Finnlines vessels
On 16th and 17th December 2016 the launching of the science research vessel Skagerak took place at the premises of Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk. Soon vessel will be ready to delivery to the University of Gothenburg.
The vessel was built for Gothenburg University. Nauta started building in January 2015 by keel laying ceremony. The vessel is 49 m long and 11 m wide and have a displacement of about 800 tones
