On 1st May, 2015 MT Advantage Spring left Nauta after DD repairs in the largest SD II graving dry dock in this region. With a capacity of 156,597 DWT this is the largest ship ever to visit Nauta Shiprepair Yard. Apart of standard DD repairs, some works on tail shaft and propeller of MT Advantage Spring were performed.
On April 30th 2015 a ceremony of keel laying was held at Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk.
Keel was laid under a Service Operation Vessel SOV vessel whose partly outfitted hull (B-858; Buyer’s Hull No,125) is going to be built by Nauta Shiprepair Yard for Havyard Ship Technology AS which is part of Havyard Group ASA, a fully integrated international supplier of ship technology, from ship design to full support to the sailing ships.
Works on board Polsteam’s bulk carrier m/v Mazury have been successfully completed on 19th April, 2015. The vessel which has undergone the 2nd SS, was built in Chinese Xingang yard. She is a sister vessel to m/v Kociewie, m/v Szczecin and m/v Wadowice which also visited Nauta in the last four months.
Nauta is completing works on board MT Assos (NUMER IMO: 9327449), flying colours of Capital Ship Management. The works are conducted in the SD I graving dry dock (240m x 40m).
The vessel with LOA 180 m and beam of 30m is undergoing her 2nd SS, including coating works and standard overhauls.
Beginning of the year is exceptionally busy time for Nauta Shiprepair Yard. All docks and quays at Czechosłowacka street are full! What’s more, technologically advanced and modern units belonging to the leading shipping companies entered Nauta Shipyard.
On January 15th 2015 a ceremony of keel laying was held at the premises of Nauta Shiprepair Yard in Gdańsk. Following the old shipbuilding tradition, the lucky coins were placed under a keelblock of the ship.
On January 8th, 2015 a ceremony of keel laying of a special vessel for interdisciplinary research of the sea was held at the premises of Nauta Shiprepair Yard at. Doki Street in Gdańsk. In keeping with shipbuilding tradition, the special Polish and Swedish coins were placed under a keelblock of the ship.
Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed contract with Havyard Ship Technology AS for the building partly outfitted windmill service vessel. The unit will operate on Dudgeon wind farm, outside the coast of Norfolk in Great Britain.
Stena will convert one of its ferries at Nauta Shiprepair Yard. After a charter with DFDS Stena’s ferry m/f “Dieppe Seaways” has just entered Nauta Shiprepair Yard to be converted into m/f “Stena Superfast X” to enable her crossing between Holyhead (UK) and Dublin (IE).
Three companies from MARS group – EPG, Nauta and Crist from MARS Shipyards & Offshore group convert the existing platform Petrobaltic from a drilling rig into a production unit. On 30th October 2014 Nauta, EPG and Crist signed contract with LOTOS Petrobaltic.
Last days Nauta Shiprepair Yard has signed two contracts for building partly outfitted hulls of purse-seiners for Norwegian and Danish clients.
First contract Nauta has signed on 25th September with Norwegian client- Fitjar Mekaniske Verksted AS. Accordind to the order Nauta will perform partly outfitted hull of 60,5 m – long fishing seiner. The unit will be ready for commissioning on June 2015. The contractual partner is also interested in the order next, similar seiner.
Finnlines Plc has chosen Nauta Shiprepair Yard for the installation of srubber systems on board the six RO/RO vessels owned by FINNLINES Plc. Apart of the installation of the scrubber systems on board the above mentioned vessels the general dock repairs shall be performed.
Nauta experienced heavy traffic during the last months. During one day of August there were 16 vessels being repaired at our facilities at Czechosłowacka street and 4 vessels at the facilities at Waszyngtona street.
DCNS, a world leader in naval defence, signed Memorandum of Understanding with MARS Closed End Investment Fund, a Warsaw based fund managing Mars Shipyards & Offshore Group.
On 9th July in Embassy of France in Warsaw the MoU was signed by Mr. Bernard Planchais, Vicepresident of DCNS and Mr. Piotr Słupski, President of the Manegement Board MARS Closed End Investemnt Fund. The memorandum concerns further cooperation in the field of Naval business, including Submarine Project ORKA for the Polish Navy.
Nauta Shiprepair Yard fulfils further contracts for the largest Polish ship owner – Polsteam Shipping Company. In the nearest days three vessels of Polsteam and her subsidiaries shall visit the Nauta docks in Gdynia.
The 13th edition of BALT-MILITARY EXPO came to the end in the Gdańsk located AMBEREXPO exhibition halls. Nauta Shiprepair Yard was traditionally present at this event.
The exhibition which has been organized since 1998 is dedicated to the naval security, defence systems and maritime safety. This year’s edition of expo has had a specially significant meaning due to the modernization program of the Polish Navy which has just begun.
Nauta Shiprepair Yard together with other members of MARS Shipyards & Offshore group took part in the Posidonia 2014 maritime exhibition. This event is a highly esteemed place where thoughts between the producers and suppliers of maritime technology and their users are exchanged.
The Posidonia fair took place on 2nd – 6th June, 2016 in the Metropolitan Exhibition Centre in Athens.
At the beginning of May m/t Minerva Emily tanker belonging to Minerva Marine Inc left Nauta Shiprepair Yard after successful dry docking. The works were completed before time.
Minerva Marine is a highly valued Greek ship owning company with the total size of fleet: 54 ships.
On 28th March, 2014 the next meeting of the Naval Ship Building Council was held. During the meeting the participation of Nauta Shiprepair Yard in the modernization programme of the Polish Navy was discussed.
Rolls-Royce Marine and ship repair yard Nauta S.A. Shiprepair Yard have signed a new co-operation agreement in Poland. This agreement marks the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship between both parties and will enable them to deliver an unparallel level of service and skill.
On 14th March 2014 Nauta Shiprepair Yard launched a partly outfitted hull of a Platform Supply Vessel built for the Norwegian client Hellesøy Verft AS. In this way the yard has successfully returned to its old shipbuilding tradition. The launching ceremony was held in Gdańsk at B1 slipway.

On 24th – 26th February 2014 launching of Multi-Purpose Offshore Support Vessel Building Number BO58 was performed within the Nauta Shiprepair Yard Facilities. The vessel shall provide such services as Offshore Windfarm Accommodation Vessel, Platform Supply Vessel and others.
