Rebuilding of car-passenger ferry: M/V “Virak”

Conversion of the car-passenger ferry “VIRAK” owned by HURTIGRUTEN AS was done in Nauta S.A within 3.5 months. After rebuilding ferry is able to load 60 passenger cars (before 50), 7 trucks (before only 4) and 259 passengers (before 199).

Conversion to seismic vessel: M/V “BOS Atlantic”

The Danish build and owned trawler m/v “Timmiarmint”, spend 7 months at Nauta S.A Shiprepair Yard In Gdynia. On project completion she was redelivered as a seismic vessel renamed “Bos Atlantic” and is now operated by the Norwegian Owner Bergen Oil Services.

Conversion to seismic-research vessels: M/V “Osprey Explorer” and “Hawk Explorer”

Both ships were converted in SHIPREPAIR YARD “NAUTA” S.A. in Gdynia in 2006 form supply vessel and shrimp trawler to seismic – research vessels.

Conversion of Ro-Ro to car carrier: M/V “Transgard”

The ro-ro vessel “Transgard” was built in 1996 by Umoe Sterkoder, Gdynia based Shiprepair Yard “Nauta” SA took on ambitious project to convert a trailer ro-ro vessel into a car carrier within tight schedule. What is more, the resulting car carrier appeared the biggest volume ship to be converted at “Nauta” so far.
